Iming Maknawan Tesalonika is a Partner at De Raja Ming Law and Tax Firm, bringing more than 30 years of experience advising governments, state-owned enterprises, multinational corporations, and international institutions on infrastructure development, energy projects, and public–private partnerships (PPP).
He is widely recognized for his role in structuring complex, policy-driven transactions and navigating multi-layered regulatory frameworks. His work frequently involves bridging legal design, regulatory reform, and commercial implementation in large-scale development projects.
Iming’s practice focuses on infrastructure and energy law, PPP structuring, project finance, capital markets, arbitration, and cross-border commercial matters. Over the course of his career, he has been deeply involved in national infrastructure initiatives, special economic zone development, power sector reforms, and major utility and energy projects, acting both as transaction counsel and regulatory advisor.
He holds advanced degrees in law, management, and comparative law from leading institutions in Indonesia and Asia, including the National University of Singapore and the Asian Institute of Management. He is also a sworn Indonesian–English legal translator appointed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta.
In addition to his legal practice, Iming is an active lecturer, speaker, and policy advisor on infrastructure regulation, investment law, and international commercial contracts. He has lectured at several universities and professional institutions and regularly contributes to discussions on PPP regulation, infrastructure policy, and international investment frameworks.
